Infidelity is a negative behavior which is a form of uncertainty about the dissatisfaction between partners. In fact, cheating can be a sign of a personality disorder. An affair is a form of a person's inability to be faithful in a commitment to a partner, whether spoken out or mutually agreed. Apart from the problems faced in the relationship, there are actually some personality disorders that may not be realized, but can affect someone to be selinkguh.

Borderline personality disorder

A person who has borderline personality disorder tends to be unstable in developing close relationships with other people and has judgments that can change quickly.


For example, at the beginning of acquaintance, it can be considered as a friend, but also can be considered as an enemy. He can also suddenly stop communicating with a partner just because of his imagination if he is left behind.


The personality of the person with this personality disorder can change drastically, from sadness, anger, to anxiety from hours to days. This disturbance may cause him to suddenly have an affair, and not be able to live out a commitment with his partner for a long period of time.

Narcissistic personality disorder

People with narcissistic personalities are very prone to cheating. This is because he always feels that something is missing with the relationship he is in, so he looks for other people to fill the void. Histrionic personality disorder

This personality disorder has characteristics that are almost the same as narcissistic disorders, it's just that in addition to being selfish it is also dramatic and likes to be the center of attention. They are also unable to have close relationships with other people, but enjoy flirting sexually. People with this personality disorder generally look attractive and use their appearance as a weapon to seduce others, including flirting with their own partner.
